Ethridge "Preacher" Colclasure, 78, of East Moline, IL, died Friday, May 24, 2013 at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline. There will be no services. Memorials may be made to the Hope Creek Activity Fund. Preacher was born October 30, 1934 in Hazen, AR, the son of Ernest and Maydell Maddox Colclasure. He married Lottie Sue Glubber in Moline, IL. He had worked for the Rock Island Lines and John Deere Plow Planter. He was a unique type of guy, who was one of a kind! Survivors include his sisters, Joan (Anthony) Marchese, Geneseo, IL, and Sandra Carlson, Cabot, AR; brothers, Frank (Debbie) Parker, Rapids City, IL, and Ernie Colclasure, Rock Island. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 30 years, and his twin sister, Effie Colclasure.
