Funeral services for Eudoxios "Ed" Spiridonos, 60, of Island Lake, IL, will be Noon, Saturday, at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, East Moline, IL. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Port Byron, IL. Visitation will be 10:00-11:30 AM Saturday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Mr. Spiridonos died Tuesday, April 25, 2006 in Nea Kallikratia, Greece. Memorials may be made to Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, East Moline. Mr. Spiridonos was born April 23, 1946 in Seres, Greece. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as a salesman for Neil Enterprise, Vernon Hills, IL. He was a great friend, a loving father and "Papou". He will be missed by all. Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Nick Staken of Port Byron, IL; son, Elias Spiridonos of Chicago, IL; grandchildren, Ashley and Jeffrey Staken and Nicky Moore.
