Obituary

Funeral services for Eva M. Fauble, of Moline, IL, will be 11:00AM Friday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial will be in the National Cemetery, Rock Island, IL. Visitation will be 9:00-11:00AM Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Fauble died Monday, August 30, 2010 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis, IL. Eva Arnold was born November 26, 1921 in Burlington, IA, the daughter of Rollie and Snoda Bence Arnold. She married Elmer Jacobs in Kahoka, MO in 1937. She later married Clarence Fauble in Rock Island, IL, in 1965. He died in 1968. She had worked as a Payroll Clerk at the Rock Island Arsenal, retiring in 1986. She had been a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, and friend. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Janice and John Fulton of Swedona, IL, Eva Louise and Cecil Pennington of Rock Island, IL, Linda and Don Morris of Port Byron, IL, Julie Jacobs-Clark and Phil Clark of Rock Island, Teresa and Jerry Hockaday of East Moline; sons and daughters-in-law, Rollie and Carol Jacobs of Colton, CA, James and Jan Jacobs of Neponset, IL; 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Marcia and Jesse Avery of Kirkwood, IL, and Gloria Barr of Macomb, IL; brothers and sisters-in-law, Howard and Mary Ellen Gulick of Burlington, IA, Donald and Jo Gulick of Burlington, Danny and Gladys Gulick of Kirkwood: special friend, June Mannrique.
