Funeral services for Eva Ruth Smith, 86, of Silvis, IL, will be 11 am Saturday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Mrs. Smith died Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline.

Eva was born May 21, 1936, in Pelham, TN, the daughter of Francis and Maggie (Fultz) Roberts. She married Gerald E. Smith November 22, 1980, in East Moline, IL. He passed away November 22, 2005. Eva retired from Case/IH, East Moline, in 1992 after serving 27 years and 8 months.

Survivors include her sons, Paul (Patti) Campbell, Port Byron, IL, and Eugene (Denise) Campbell, East Moline; grandchildren, Erica (Steve) White, Matt (Suzanne) Campbell, and Marcus (Ashley) Campbell; great grandchildren, Lexi, Michael, Jayden, Meredith, Jackson, and Olivia.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Elvia, Esther, Edna, Eula, Ernestine, and Elline; brothers, Leonard, Leighton, and Louie.
