A memorial visitation will be held for Everett "Roy" Timbrook, 55, of Rock Island, IL, formerly of Fulton, IL, from 4-7 PM Wednesday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Interment will be in National Cemetery, Rock Island, IL. Mr. Timbrook died Sunday, July 22, 2007 at his home. Memorials may be made to Project Now. Roy was born April 10, 1952 in Moline, IL, the son of Henry and Wilma (Elston) Timbrook Sr. He was a graduate of United Township High School Class of 1970 and the University of Illinois Class of 1974. He served in the US Army from 1974 - 1985. He had been a chef, working in several areas including Houston, TX and Tucson, AZ. He was an avid reader. He adored his nieces and nephews. Survivors include his mother and step father, Wilma and Dale Hayes of Moline; sisters and brothers-in-law, Peggy and Larry Hufford of Osborn, IL, Yvonne and Richard Stauffer of Pittsfield, IL, Louise Schaver of Bloomington, IL; brother and sister-in-law, Henry and Shirley Timbrook Jr. of Colona, IL; 4 nieces; 5 nephews; 20 great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father and his nephew, Timothy Timbrook.
