Funeral services for Florence Sigler, 89, formerly of Green Rock, IL, will be 10:00 AM Monday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, IL. Visitation will be 2-5 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Mrs. Sigler died Friday, July 14, 2006 at Parkview Healthcare Center, East Moline, IL. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association. Florence Byers was born October 28, 1916 in Kirkville, IA, the daughter of William and Etta (Mohler) Byers. She married Lawrence Sigler August 12, 1935 in Lancaster, Missouri. He died in 1967. Survivors include: daughter, Judith Esterlein of East Moline, IL; son and daughter-in-law, Dan and Jeanette Sigler of East Moline, IL; 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson. She is preceded in death by her: parents; daughter, Geneva Anderson; stepdaughter, Betty Snyder; grandson, Jeff Sigler; 3 sisters; 2 brothers.
