Floy Lingafelter, 88, East Moline, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2013 at her home with family by her side. Funeral services are 11 AM Wednesday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial will be at 1PM Wednesday at St. Mary's Cemetery, Keithsburg, IL. Visitation is 4-7PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to 1st Christian Church, East Moline, where she was a member. Floy Marston was born March 3, 1924 in Buffalo Prairie, IL, the daughter of Linwood and Fern Marston. She married Russell Lingafelter on October 15, 1942. He died March 16, 1961. Floy had worked as a clerk at JC Penney for many years, retiring in the early 1990's. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, cooking, working in her yard and flower gardens. She loved to dance. Survivors include her sons, Dennis (Diana) Lingafelter, Geneseo, and Russell (Linda) Lingafelter, Moline, grandchildren, Rusty (Janella) Lingafelter, Edwardsville, IL, Cathy (Tony) Maiers, Moline, Shelly (John) Swain, Cleveland, TN, and Kim (Charles) McHugh, Geneseo, great-grandchildren, Brandon and Tyler Craig, Austin VandeVoorde, Henry, Eli, Addie and Andrew Lingafelter, and Ali and A.J. Shroder, sister, Alice Plemmons, brother, Charles (Diane) Marston, sisters-in-law, Shirley, Rosemary and Carole Marston and brother-in-law Delbert Ketelsen. She is preceded in death by her husband, Parents, sister Olive Ketelsen, brothers, Russell, Elwin "Bub" and Blain Marston, brother in law Tommy Plemmons, nephew Joe Marston and nieces, Sharon Weets and Darla Biere.
