Frances Ford Brown, 93, resident of Friendship Manner, Rock Island, IL, formerly of East Moline, IL, died Sunday, May 31, 2015, at Friendship Manner. Private graveside services will be held at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Frances Decker was born March 30, 1922, in Literberry, IL, the daughter of Ernest and Mary Maul Decker. She married George H. Murphy in 1939, in Hannibal, MO. She latter married Buford Henry Ford in Rock Island. Following his death in 1974, Frances married Ed Brown. She is survived by her daughters, Marilyn Naab, Rock Island, Judy (Cork) Platts, Calabasas, CA, Carol (Ronald) DeMeyer, Rock Island, and Darlene (Richard) Ackerman, Palm Desert, CA; son, Larry (Linda) Murphy, Moline; grandchildren, Cynthia, David, Christine, Susan, Daniel, Richard, Richelle, Scott, Guy, Robert, and Andrew; great grandchildren, Stephanie, Alysia, Tori Lea, Maddy, Loryn, Julia, Megan, Justin, Matthew, Machenzie, Kinsey, Gabriella, Bond, and Alex. She was preceded in death by her husbands; granddaughter, Christine Zimmerman; brother, William Decker; and son-in-law, David Naab. Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
