Funeral services for Frances C. Lohmeyer, 82, Silvis are 3:30PM Friday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Silvis. Private family committal will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery at a later date. Visitation is 1:30 until service time at the church, where a rosary will be recited at 2:30PM. A memorial fund has been established. Frances died Tuesday, September 09, 2008 at Genesis Medical Center-Illini Campus, Silvis. Frances Hall was born February 20, 1926 in Cordon, Kentucky, the daughter of Paul and Julia (Mattingly) Hall. She had taught Yoga throughout the Quad City area. Fran had sold Mary Kay Cosmetics and owned Rags to Riches in downtown Moline. Yoga was an integral part of her life. She looked forward to going to weekend dances Survivors include her best friend and fiancé Bob Steele, Silvis, her children John, Alliance NE, Tom, Fort Collins, CO, Greg, Long Pine, NE, Julie, Rock Island and Kevin, Rock Island, five grandchildren, sisters Mary of Knoxville and Sr. Marceline of Terre Haute, IN and a brother Jerry of southern Illinois.
