Funeral services for Frances E. "Franny" Moore, 102, of Silvis, IL, will be 1:00 pm Monday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation will be 11:00 am until service time Monday at the funeral home. Mrs. Moore died Thursday, March 31, 2016, at Illini Restorative Care Center, Silvis, IL. Frances Isakson was born February 21, 1914, in Orion, IL, the daughter of Claus and Gertrude Gustafson Isakson. She married Harold Moore in 1933. Harold died in 1972. Franny worked many years for Wayne's Grocery in Orion. Later she worked for her son, Buzz at his Company Barjan Products. In her younger years, she was an active member of Christ United Methodist Church, East Moline, and with Royal Neighbors. She was an excellent seamstress who crocheted beautiful afghans. She was also an expert pianist. She gave her piano to her great great grandchildren who are carrying on her musical tradition. Survivors include her daughter, Marlo Wiegel, Moline; grandchildren, Marcy (Bob) Jecks, Doug (Kathy) Wiegel, Francie (Mike) Ferguson, Bob (Glenda) Stucker, Kay (Howard) Barnes, Kim Williams, and Kit (Tom) Harper; 20 great grandchildren; 19 great great grandchildren; daughter in-law, Barbara Moore, FL; granddaughter-in-law, Dawn Wiegel She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Buzz Moore; grandson, Kurt Wiegel; sister, Arleen; and brother, Wilford; son-in-law, Reid Wiegel.
