Frank "Buddy" Dunlop Sr., 77, East Moline, passed away Monday, July 30, 2012 at his home. Cremation rites have been accorded. Inurnment will be in Rock Island National Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be from 2:30 until 4:30PM Friday at Van Hoe Funeral Home ltd., East Moline. Buddy was born July 25, 1935 in Moline, the son of Frank and Kathryn (Hintz) Lee . He married Marlene Langhoffer on December 3, 1954 and she died December 13, 1954. He married Martha King in 1958 and together they had 5 children. He married Carole (Milburn) Crimmins on May 8, 1982. She died June 28, 2011. Buddy retired as a Chief Petty Officer from the US Navy. After retirement he worked security for John Deere Harvester Works, East Moline. Buddy was a member of the VFW, and the Fleet Reserve. He enjoyed fishing. Survivors include his children, Frank of Charleston, SC, Lance, Abilene, TX, Tiffany and Jon both of Tucson, AZ, four grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and a sister Karen (Gene) Leibovitz, Colona, step children, Ron, Dan, Dave , Larry, and Cindy, half siblings, Norma Snell, Debbie Gainey, both of Lynn Center, Richard Lee, Moline and Joyce Woodley, Orion and a sister-in-law Beth Lee, Orion, and his mother-in-law Virginia Ruth Milburn, Moline. He is preceded in death by his parents, wives Marlene and Carole, son Derek and half brother Robert Lee.
