Frank A. Sneed, 64, Silvis, died Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at Genesis Illini, Silvis. Visitation is 2-4PM Sunday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Graveside services are 2:30 PM Tuesday at Rock Island National Cemetery. Anyone wishing to attend services should meet at the funeral home by 2PM. A memorial fund has been established. Frank was born July 9, 1948 in Silvis, IL, the son of Francis and Dorothy (Stoneburg) Sneed. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He had worked for the Rock Island Lines and retired from John Deere in 1995. Survivors include his daughter Jennifer Chehouani, Moline, grandchildren, Mason and Allyssa, great-granddaughter Natalie, his mother Dorothy, Silvis, brothers John and Davin and sister Vicki. He is preceded in death by his dad Francis Sneed Sr.
