A Memorial Mass for Frank "Pancho" Terrones, 78, formerly of Oceanside, CA, will be noon Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, East Moline, IL. Mr. Terrones died Monday, March 24, 2008 at his home in Cullman, AL. Memorials may be made for masses. Francisco Terronez was born April 2, 1929 in Leon, GTO, Mexico, the son of Philip and Albina (Rivera) Terronez. He married Mary Orozco in 1960. She died in 1991. He worked at the Daily Dispatch, Moline, where he had been a printer. He was a veteran of WWII. Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Dean Baker of Honey Brook, PA; grandchildren, Zach and Catherine Baker; sisters and brothers-in-law, Alice Gamino of Silvis, IL, Lupe Terronez of Chicago, IL, Cecilia and Donald Raischel of Moline, IL; brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Rose Terronez of Moline, John Terronez of east Moline, Albert and Victoria Terronez of East Moline, Anthony and Florence Terronez of East Moline; several nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
