Funeral services for Frank W. Witt, 78, of East Moline, IL, will be 11:00AM Monday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home. Mr. Witt died Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at Heartland Health Care Center, Moline, IL. Memorials may be made to the family. Frank was born April 2, 1931 in Keithsburg, IL, the son of Lee and Helen Gaylor Witt. He married Nelda Dame in Dec 16, 1950 in Rock Island, IL. She died May 11, 1995. He had been a self employed General Contractor. Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Victoria Witt of Moline, Veronica and Mike Fisher of Sneeds Ferry, NC, Valerie and Paul Carrol of Long Lane, MO; sons and daughter-in-law, Steven Witt of Coal Valley, IL, Jeff and Roxann Witt of Plainfield, IL; 22 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren, sister and brother-in-law, Vergie and Charles Copeland of Moline; sister-in-law, Barbara Witt of Rock Island, IL. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, son, Michael Witt, and brother, Curt Witt.
