Funeral services for Fred Joe Clark, 80, of Hampton, IL, will be 11 am Monday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Mr. Clark died Tuesday May 30, 2017, at Genesis, Silvis. Joe was born April 24, 1937, in Waukee, IA, the son of Robert and Ruth Keyes Clark. He served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He married Augusta "Kay" Liggett in 1979. She died February 14, 2016. He had been an inspector at Frank Foundries, Moline, until they closed. He then worked at Blackhawk Foundry, Davenport. Among survivors include his son, Darryl Clark, Cambridge, IL; stepchildren, Pam Smith, Moline, Pat Vermeire, Moline, Robert Scudder Jr., Hampton, and James L. Scudder, Burlington, IA; brothers, Dean Clark, Moline, Ralph (Jo) Clark, East Moline, William (Ellie) Clark, Auburndale, FL, and Tommy Clark, Silvis; nieces and nephews.
