Funeral services for Gabriella M. Dopler, 85, of East Moline, IL, will be 10:00 am Thursday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Rapids City, IL. Burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 pm Wednesday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 3:00 pm. Mrs. Dopler died Saturday, July 20, 2019, at her home in Park Vista. Gabriella Lambrecht was born October 9, 1933, in East Moline, the daughter of Cyriel and Bertha Goethals Lambrecht. She married Dwight Dopler January 24, 1953 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, East Moline. He died February 12, 2015. She had worked for the Port Byron State Bank and retired from Metrobank after nearly 20 years of service. Gabriella enjoyed gardening, cooking, traveling, and wintering at their home in Florida, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. Survivors include her daughters, Debra (John) Wernick, Port Byron, IL, and Denise (Rick) DeBaillie, East Moline; sons-in-law, Terry DeMeyer, Hampton, IL, and Dave Johnson, FL; grandchildren, Tyson DeMeyer, Danielle (Rich) Willemkens, Sara (Patrick) Watson, Ashley (Dallas) Skiles, Nick DeBaillie, Terran DeMeyer, and Lauren Johnson; 10 great grandchildren; siblings, George Lambrecht, East Moline, Margaret Drobushevich, East Moline, and Al (Linda) Lambrecht, AZ. She was preceded in death by her husband; daughters, Nancy DeMeyer and Laurie Johnson; siblings, Helen (Robert) Verstraete and Ralph Lambrecht; sister-in-law, Rachel Lambrecht; and brother-in-law, George Drobushevich. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church or the Park Vista Activity Fund.
