Gary L. Anthony, 67, East Moline, passed away unexpectedly on August 12, 2021 at his home. A Celebration of Life will begin at 1:00 pm Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the Hard Times 4950 4 th Ave, Moline, IL.

Gary was born on October 22, 1953, in Kewanee, IL, the son of Raymond and Norma Jean (Doy) Anthony. He graduated from Kewanee High School. Gary retired from the former International Harvester, and later worked for the Davenport Library. He married Rhonda Seabloom June 28, 2013 in Rock Island. He and his wife own and operate Hard Times in Moline. Gary had a great sense of humor, was quick witted, and had an infectious laugh. He loved his bar and the many friendships he made through the years. He was a Chicago White Sox and a Chicago Bears fan. Gary enjoyed biking, playing golf and traveling. He was always high spirited and with a positive soul.

Survivors include his wife, Rhonda; stepson, Steven (Melissa) Woeckener, Andalusia, IL and their children, Jacob and Bailey whom he adored; brother, Randy (Mary) Anthony, Kewanee; and his aunt, Darlene, Elgin; and his "Little Girl" Poochie.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
