Gary L. Fry, 70, of East Moline, passed away Friday, January 20, 2023 in East Moline.

Inurnment with military honors will be 2:30 p.m. Friday, February 3, at  National Cemetery, Arsenal Island, those wishing to attend are to meet at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline at 2:00 p.m. Friday.

Gary was born September 3, 1952 in Davenport, Iowa, a son of Junior Herman Fry and Betty Jean (Rooks) Fry. He graduated from Rock Island High School.

Gary was a U.S. Army veteran. Following his military service, he had worked at Bear Mfg., Eagles Warehouse, and then Roy's Taco.

He enjoyed going to the Boats, and spending time with friends and family.

Surviving are his brothers, Clarence Fry, Port Charlotte, FL and Hal Fry, Hampton, IL; and several nephews and nieces.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, and six siblings, Herman Fry, Roscoe Fry, Danny Fry, Kevin Fry, Jill Fry and Debra Fry.
