Funeral services for Gary D. Miller, 66, of East Moline, IL, will be 10:00 AM Saturday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline, IL. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Miller died Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at home. Memorials may be made to the family. Gary was born March 20, 1939 in Hartington, Nebraska, the son of Duane and Mary (Keane) Miller. He married Karen Peters, November 26, 1966 in Vermillion, South Dakota. He had worked at the John Deere Foundry for 31 years, retiring in 1992. After retirement, he worked at the Waterworks Car Wash in Moline, IL. He was a Cubs Fan, Bears Fan and a Nebraska Corn Huskers Fan. He enjoyed spending time with his friends. He loved his family and especially liked to watch his grandchildren play. Survivors include: his wife, Karen Miller of East Moline, IL, daughters (spouse), Linda (Sam) Hillman of Colona, IL, Anne Miller and Tom Okai of Hillside, IL, LuAnn and (Sergio) Almanza of Moline, IL; grandchildren, Mason, Maura, Maden, Maggie, Ulan, Ava and Ricky; sister and brother-in-law, Doris and Robert Dendinger.
