Funeral services for Genevieve Small, 89, East Moline, are 11AM Monday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is 3-5PM Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Iowa Masonic Health Facilities, Bettendorf, or Genesis Hospice. Genevieve died Thursday, September 21, 2006 at Iowa Masonic Health Facilities. She was born September 16, 1917 in Searcy, Arkansas, the daughter of Barton and Vona (Williams) Watkins. She married Joseph W. Small, November 7, 1945 in Searcy. Joe died November 21, 1999. Genevieve had worked as a beautician in Searcy and later for Millard Maintenance Service. She was a member of First Baptist Church, East Moline. Survivors include her children and spouses Sharon and Michael Bell, Hampton; Joseph "Butch" and Karen Small Jr., Raymond, IL; and Jolene McKoon, Moline; a step daughter Doris Carron, Lewiston, IL; three grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and several step-great grandchildren.
