Funeral services for George Bloomquist 56, of Fulton, IL, formerly of East Moline, IL, will be noon Monday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial will be in Moline Memorial Park Cemetery, Moline, IL. Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Monday. Mr. Bloomquist died Thursday, October 13, 2016, at Rockford Memorial Hospital, Rockford, IL. George was born July 17, 1960 in Moline, IL, the son of Harold and Florence Polios Bloomquist. He married Tina Hardy February 4, 1981, in Moline. She died April 14, 2005. George had worked at Exelon's Quad City Generating Station, Cordova, retiring in 2016. Survivors include his son, Michael Bloomquist, Fulton, IL, and his cousin, Julie Polios, Atalanta, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brother, Michael Bloomquist.
