George J. Lundahl , 79, of East Moline, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2024, at his home in East Moline.

A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 9th, at New Life Fellowship, Moline, IL, with visitation one hour prior to services at the church. Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.

George was born on February 3, 1945, in Moline, Illinois, a son of Enoch and Lucille (Roussell) Lundahl. He graduated from U.T. high school, Class of 1963. George married Darlene K. Hoos on March 15, 1975, in Walcott, Iowa.

He was a U.S. Air Force veteran. George owned and operated Lundahl Residential Drafting Co.

He loved his work and his family. Some of his favorite times were those spent with friends and family making memories. George will be lovingly remembered and missed by all.

Surviving are his wife, Darlene, of East Moline; children, Jennifer Figary, Coal Valley, Brian Lundahl, East Moline, Brenda Lundahl, Silvis, Michelle (Rick) Ortiz, East Moline, and Patti Lundahl, Davenport; grandchildren, Jack Figary III, Joél Lundahl, Jordan (Eric) Houston, Evie Lundahl, Tucker Goodman, Jr., and Kyle Oritz; great granddaughter, Paisley Houston, and one on the way, Lilah Houston; two nephews, David and Danny Reiff; two nieces, Diane Reiff and Debbie Landt; and other family.

George was preceded in death by one grandson, Joshua Figary; his parents, Enoch and Lucille; and his sister, Jean Reiff.
