George L. White Jr., 69, of East Moline, IL, died Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline, IL. There will be no services. Memorials may be made to the family. George was born November 14, 1940 in Hannibal, MO, the son of George L. and Alta Ragar White, Sr. He married Sandra Flick December 1959. They were divorced. He later married Sandra M. Kennedy May 20, 1972 in Moline, IL. She died February 16, 1998. He retired from John Deere Harvester, East Moline, where he had worked as an assembler. He later worked for the Great Quad City Auto Auction from 1997- 2005. He loved hunting and fishing. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Diana DeClue (Danny)of Elsberry, MO, Janice Huling (Lenny) of Hannibal, Janet and Johnny Hamilton of Hannibal, Susan and James Riley of Moline; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandsons; sisters and brother-in-law, Donna Osbourne of Geneseo, IL, Sallie Fisher of Rock Island, IL, Cindy and Dennis Hancock of Monroe City, MO; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary and Linda White of Cambridge, MA, Jim and Joyce White of Mountain Home, Ark, David and Lori White of Hannibal, Daniel and Karin White of Hannibal, Paul and Debbie White of Hannibal, 19 nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews; special friends, Arlin Hicks, "Hogjaw", Karen Nelson, Randy Carmichael, and Bob Houk. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, White, daughter, Julie, grandson, Jeffrey, brother-in-law, Jack Osbourn, sister-in-law, Pat White.
