Gerald L. "Jerry" Viscioni, 68, East Moline, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at his home. Funeral services are 10 AM Friday at St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline. Burial is in Rock Island National Cemetery, where the East Moline American Legion Post 227 will conduct military honors. Visitation is 4-7 PM Thursday at Van Hoe Funeral Home ltd., East Moline. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.

Gerald was born on December 25, 1949 in Moline, the son of Louie and Elsie (Jannsens) Viscioni. He served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam Era. He married Diana G. Howell on August 27, 1971 in Geneseo. Jerry retired from the city of East Moline after 36 years of service. He enjoyed bowling, rolle bolle, fishing, working crossword puzzles and was a Jimmie Johnson NASCAR fan. Jerry was a 49er's fan, then a Bears fan and was a die-hard Cardinal fan that grew up in a Cub's home.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Diana, daughter, Heather (Joe) Sullivan, Chicago and siblings, Thomas (Laura) Viscioni, East Moline, Patricia (Ron) Thompson, Colona and Michelle Viscioni, East Moline.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Barbara.
