Geraldine "Gerry" Prickett, 94, East Moline, passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Park Vista, East Moline. Funeral services are 11 AM Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline.  Services will be live-streamed by logging into http://www.facebook.com/vanhoefuneralhome.  Burial is in Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation is from 9 AM until service time. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the Friends of the East Moline Public Library or the Make a Wish Foundation.

Gerry was born on August 28, 1927 in Sigourney, IA, the daughter of Fred and Estelle (Kuyper) Bartow. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Cornell College, Mt. Vernon, IA. She married Dale Prickett on August 22, 1948 in Washington, IA. He died September 29, 2007. She loved playing the piano and gave lessons from her home for many years. She enjoyed painting and drawing. Gerry and her husband were members of Short Hill's Country Club, East Moline. Her greatest joy was being with her family.

Survivors include her children; Dr. Greg (Valerie) Prickett, Ted (Yvonne Mascari) Prickett and Diane (Tom) Biehl all of East Moline, grandchildren; James (Monica) Prickett, Jeffery (Rose) Prickett, Jason Langston, Ben (Nicole) Prickett, Katie (Bryan) Collins, Dale Prickett and Meredith Biehl, twenty great grandchildren and sister, Ruth Bartow, Washington, IA.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
