Gerardo Ledesma Gonzalez, 53, of East Moline passed away tragically on Saturday November 14, 2020 at University of Iowa Medical Center in Iowa City, due to injuries sustained in a car accident.

A visitation will be held from 4-7PM on Thursday November 19, 2020 at Faith Walk World Outreach Center in Silvis. Cremation will be accorded following the visitation. Memorials may be made to the family.

Gerardo was born on November 16, 1966 in Guanajuato, Mexico, a son of Nicolas Ledesma and Maximina Gonzalez. Being a hard and diligent worker, he worked in landscaping, construction and snow removal for many years. He enjoyed traveling, family gatherings and grilling. In the past, he had been affiliated with Herbalife Nutrition. He was known for his fondness of gardening and pruning. He loved all of his family and enjoyed spending time with them.

Survivors include his daughters: Emily Ledesma of East Moline, and Irene (Fred) Stewart of Low Moor, IA; 3-grandchildren: Karissa, Freddy and Diana; siblings: Felisa Ledesma, Antonio Ledesma, Guadalupe Ledesma, Nicolas Ledesma, Maria Soledad Ledesma, Ana Berta Ledesma, and Juana Ledesma; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, father, and a brother, Juan Ledesma.
