Funeral services for Gladys L. Fox, 91, of Silvis, IL, will be 10:00AM Monday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery, Moline, IL. Visitation will be 2:00-5:00PM Sunday at the funeral home. Mrs. Fox died Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at Illini Restorative Care Center. Silvis, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Illini Hospital Auxiliary. Gladys Cunningham was born January 31, 1920 in Moline, IL, the daughter of Earl F. and Edythe Jamison Cunningham. She married Larry D. Fox May 24, 1958 in Silvis, IL. He died in 1975. She and her husband owned and operated the American Cafe, Silvis. She had been a volunteer at Illini Hospital for 18 years and had been active within the Illini Hospital Auxiliary. She had been a member of the Eastern Star. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Survivors include daughters, Sharon (Merle) Sedore of Eldon, IA, Larri Lynn Fox (Joan McNutt) of Mesa, AZ; sons, William (Barbara) Fox of Silvis, IL, Earl (Barbara "Bobbie") Fox of Coal Valley, IL; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
