Gladys D. Perry, 91, of Moline, IL, died Thursday, December 8, 2005 at her home. A Memorial Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 PM Sunday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, IL, at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family. Gladys Barker was born April 3, 1914 in Tennessee, the daughter of James W. and Lela (Myers) Barker. She married Clarence C. Perry in 1933 in Winfield, Alabama. He died in May of 1962. Gladys loved to read and crochet. She enjoyed playing Bingo and Aggravation. Survivors include: daughter, Helen "Jeanne" Somner of Moline, IL; son, B.J. Perry of Mathis, TX; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sister, Opha Jenkins of Belles, TX; brother and sister-in-law, John and Cecelia Barker of Rock Island, IL; several nieces and nephews.
