Obituary

Glen Sterling Miller, 69, of East Moline, IL, passed away Monday March 23, 2026, at MercyOne-Genesis, Davenport, Iowa.

A memorial visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, March 28th, at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline. Following the visitation, Glen’s family will host a Celebration of Life in his honor at the Silvis Eagles Club from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to the family to be designated later.

Glen was born August 18, 1956, in Moline, Illinois, to Terry H. and Edith L. (Benson) Miller. He married Mary Ann Rasko on May 24, 2003, in East Moline.

Glen was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a talented carpenter and member of Carpenters Local 4, of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America.

He enjoyed music, playing the guitar, horses, and watching Westerns. His favorite times were those spent with family and friends making memories. Glen will be greatly missed by all.

Surviving are his wife, Mary, of East Moline; sons, Chad Sterling Miller, Barstow, and Justin Lee Miller, Moline; stepchildren, Tonia (Bill) Whitmire, Julie Morgan, Andrew Sexton, and Amanda Sexton; grandchildren, Londyn Miller, Kylee Miller, Emma Miller, Isabella Miller, Leigha Miller, Jason Whitmire, Jessica Whitmire, Alysha Frazier, Nathan Frazier, Cassidy Willman, Katelynn Sexton, Dylan Sexton, Alexis Sexton, Helena Stumbaugh, Paige Williams, and Cody Plumb; many great grandchildren; siblings, Terry “T.R.” (Deb) Miller, Sheryl (Rick) Fiedler, and Dennis Miller, all of Colona; sister-in-law, Dawn Miller, Colona; and several nieces and nephews, and their families.

Glen was preceded in death by his parents, Terry and Edith; and one brother, Alan Miller.
