Funeral services for Gloria Arzeta, 71, of East Moline, IL, will be 10:00 AM Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, East Moline, IL. Burial will be in Mexico. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Friday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 4:00 PM. Mrs. Arzeta died Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis, IL. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the family. Gloria was born March 25, 1935 in San Luis San Pedro, Mexico. She married Juan Serna. He died in 1992. Among survivors are: daughters, Virginia Serna and Sara Serna of Chicago, IL; sons, Jose A. Serna and Faustino Serna of Mexico, Julian Serna of East Moline, IL; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Margarita Nunoz and Maria Elena Rivera of Mexico; several nieces nephew and cousins.
