Gloria Jeannette Reyes, 73, Moline, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2020 at Genesis Illini, Silvis.

Visitation is 2-4 PM Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline.

Private committal will be in Sabula, Iowa.

Gloria Jewell was born on July 2, 1947 in Clinton, IA, the daughter of Luther and Bessie (Shepard) Jewell. She married David Reyes and together they had a daughter, Michelle. She attended Moline Beauty School and was a self employed hairdresser for many years. She enjoyed drawing and crafting. Her greatest joy was being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughter, Michelle Reyes, Hampton, grandchildren, Alaina, Andrew, Robert and Stephanie, great grandchildren, Kaydence and Romynn and her "adopted sister" Mary Husky.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Allan Jewell and Harlan Jewell.

In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the family.
