Funeral services for Grace J. Davis, 81, of East Moline, will be 10:00 AM Monday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd, East Moline, IL. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline, IL. Visitation will be 2-5 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Mrs. Davis died Wednesday, October 19, 2005 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis, IL. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Grace was born June 15, 1924 in Sydney, Australia. She married Richard Davis, June 21, 1977 in California. She had worked at Wells School in East Moline for several years, where she retired in 1986. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a very giving person who was always helping others. Survivors include: her husband, Richard Davis of East Moline, IL; daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Ralph Tornes of Coal Valley, IL; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Cherie and Dave Croteau of Branson, MO; stepson and daughter-in-law, Jeffery and Laura Davis of Corpus Christi, TX; 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.
