Funeral services for Gregory L. Sutton, 50, of East Moline, IL, will be Noon Friday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, IL. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to services Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Sutton died Monday, September 05, 2005 at home. Memorials may be made to Pathway Hospice or the American Cancer Society. Greg was born March 16, 1955 in Moline, IL, the son of Hurley and Beatrice (Grimsley) Sutton. He attended UTHS, Class of 1973. He married Tammy Bowling in 1978 in Orion, IL. He had worked as a painter for Export Packaging, Milan, IL. He loved his family and friends and enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews. He loved to fish and hunt, especially pheasant hunting. Survivors include: his father and stepmother, Hurley and Carole Sutton of East Moline, IL; sister and brother-in-law, Denice and Bryan Murray of Winter Spring, FL; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bruce and Nancy Sutton of Moline, IL, Mark Sutton of Myrtle Beach, SC, Dan and Nancy Sutton of Granite Bay, CA, Steve and Michelle Sutton of Wapello, IA, Michael and Cindi Sutton of Aurora, IL, Keith Frey of Sacramento, CA, Chris and Lisa Frey of Orangeville, CA.
