Graveside committal services for Gweneth Durrant, 92, Silvis, are 10 AM Wednesday at Greenview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, East Moline. Memorials may be made to Christ United Methodist Church, East Moline. Gwen died Sunday, May 20, 2007 at Aspen Health and Rehabilitation, Silvis. At Gwen's request her body will be cremated. She was born March 1, 1915 in Ravanna, MO, the daughter of John and Bessie Scott Lewis. She married Chester Durrant, July 24, 1934 in Missouri. He died February 7, 2007. They were married 73 years and had no children. She had worked at Seaholm's cards and gifts, retiring in 1974. Among survivors are dear friends; Bill and Ruth Vyncke East Moline, Gil and Berta Breckling, Silvis and Susan and Jerry Ketelaar, East Moline. A special thank-you for touching Gwen and Chet's life and always being there to give a helping hand. Also a thank-you to all of the staff at Aspen for all of your help and kindness.
