Gwendolyn J. Finch, 70, Moline, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family . Funeral services are 1PM Thursday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is 4-7 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Gwen Bowker was born on April 18, 1945 in Okemah, OK, the daughter of Ralph and Virgie Marie (Kelly) Bowker. She married David W. Finch on June 28, 1962 in Hampton. Mrs. Finch was a devoted member of East Moline Four Square Church. She enjoyed garage sales, shopping and her dogs. Gwen loved people and was always ready to help whenever she could. Survivors include her husband Dave, children, Terri Finch, Silvis, Jackie (Scott) Timmons, Bettendorf, IA, and Michael (Rose Ann) Finch, Milan, seven grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and siblings, Gary Bowker, Barstow, IL, Vivian Puckett, Colona, Sharon Slocum, Mt. Joy, IA, and Audrey Kirby, Barstow and a great uncle Junior Bowker, Calhoun GA. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Melvin D. Bowker.
