Hal Harvey Esslinger, 58, Campbell's Island, East Moline, IL died December 31, 2012 at his home. There will be a memorial gathering on Sunday January 6, 2013 from 2-5 PM at the Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, IL. A memorial will be established. Hal was born December 18, 1954 in Morrison, IL the son of Robert and Betty Kiner Esslinger. He retired in 2006 from John Deere Harvester, East Moline after 30 years of service. Hal enjoyed fishing and visiting with friends and family. Survivors include his mother Betty Esslinger, East Moline, formerly of Prophetstown; one daughter Alexandria Esslinger, Moline; one son, Andrew Esslinger, Moline; two sisters Kathy(Ralph) Watts, Streator, IL, Ann(John)McCarrell, Port Byron IL; a brother Bill(Cathy) Esslinger, Lockport, IL; two grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and many friends.
