Graveside services for Harland C. McLaughlin, 98, of East Moline, IL, will be 10:30 am Saturday , June 29, 2019, at New Windsor-Petrie Cemetery, New Windsor, IL. Mr. McLaughlin died Friday, June 1, 2019, at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline. Harland was born February 22, 1921, in Jasper County, IA, the son of Harland C. and Jewel E. Jones McLaughlin. He served in the US Army Air Force during WWII. He married Naomi Oakberg. She died February 19, 1998. He had several careers throughout his life including farming and missionary work. Survivors include his sister, Elsie Glass, Hayfork, CA; several nieces and nephews including Kathi (Glenn) Ruud, Moline, IL, and Mark McLaughlin, Moline.
