Harry Means III, 58, of East Moline, IL, died Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at Genesis, Silvis, IL. A celebration of life will be held Saturday at the East Moline American Legion from noon until 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the family. Harry was born April 20, 1957, in Rock Island, IL, the son of Harry and Alice Ruark Means Jr. He worked at the former Sambo's East Moline, QC Times, Peoria Journal Star, and Canton Daily Ledger. Harry was a sports fan. He enjoyed watching the Minnesota Vikings, Chicago Bulls, and Chicago Cubs. Survivors include his daughter, Erin Means, Davenport, IA; son, Alex Means, East Moline; granddaughters, Andrea Davis, Lillian Horton, and Jorja Means; mother, Alice Martin, East Moline; step children, Nick Wisely Clinton, IA, Eric Wisely, Clinton, and Sarah Lanxon, Clinton; sisters, Debbie Johnson, Galesburg, IL, and Valarie Streitmatter, East Moline.
