Funeral services for Hazel "Pearl" Anderson, 75, of Silvis, IL, will be 3:00 pm Saturday, May 14, 2016, at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Officiating will be Pastor Sandy Bunnell of Colona United Methodist Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Rock Island National Cemetery. Mrs. Anderson died Sunday May 1, 2016, at Riverview Manor, Pleasant Valley, IA. Pearl was born December 20, 1940, in Moberly, MO, the daughter of Howard and Olive O'Daniel Turner. She married Richard Palike October 26, 1958, in East Moline, IL. She later married William Anderson December 2, 1991, in Pigeon Forge, TN. He died April 7, 2016. She worked at Oscar Meyer, Davenport, where she had been an IBM punch card operator. Survivors include her daughter, Karen (Ron) Conover, Greer, SC; son James Palike, Independence, IA; grandson, Ronnie Conover, Greenville, SC; stepdaughters, Ava (Robert) Hall, Davenport, IA, and Ellen (Jamie) Garrett, Davenport; sisters, Mary (Keith) Lundeen, East Moline, and Carol (W. Clyde) McCarty, Carbon Cliff, IL; brother, Howard (Jeanne) Turner, East Moline; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, William.
