Funeral services for Hedwig L. " Hedy" Williams, 95, of Moline, IL, will be Noon, Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Moline. Visitation will be 9:00-11:00AM Thursday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL, where a rosary will be recited at 9:15AM. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Moline, IL. Mrs. Williams died Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Riverwood Rehab, East Moline. Hedy was born October 29, 1917 in Springfield, IL, the daughter of Joseph and Kate Schritz Mrosko. She married Francis X. Williams July 4, 1936 in Springfield, IL. He died 1978. She had worked as a private duty LPN. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Moline. She enjoyed cooking and playing cards. Survivors include sons, Robert Williams, East Moline, IL, and James (Mary Ann) Williams, Moline; 13 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and great great great grandchildren.
