?Helen Hintz, 85, of Moline, IL, died Friday, March 25, 2011 at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline, IL. Private graveside services will be held at the National Cemetery, Rock Island, IL. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the American Legion Post 227, East Moline. Helen Huffstutler was born April 24, 1925 in Southern, IL, the daughter of Charles and Effie Huffstutler. She married Theodore "Ted" Hintz October 5, 1946 in Clinton, IA. He died January 27, 2000. She had worked at the Illinois Unemployment Office, Moline, for many years. She loved her grandchildren. Survivors include her daughter, Tammy (Keith) Whetter of Birmingham, AL; son, Charlie (Sue) Hintz of Moline; grandchildren, Shannon, Carling, and Bailey Whetter, Stefani and JC Hintz, Jamie (Nick) Meier, and Michael Woodin; great-grandson, Brennan Meier; nieces and nephews.
