Funeral services for Hyo Sun Dahl, 60, of Colona, IL, will be 11am Friday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Burial will be in the Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation will be 9-11 am Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Dahl passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, IA. Hyo Sun was born September 13, 1961,in Seoul South Korea, the daughter of Kwon.Kwan Nam and Shin.Wol Sun. She married Timothy Dahl August 31, 1986, in Seoul. She enjoyed her dogs, cooking, gardening, camping, boating and fishing. Survivors include her husband, Tim; children, Elizabeth Nauman, Peoria, IL, and Timothy Dahl Jr. Homosassa, FL; 5 grandchildren; and 3 brothers all in South Korea.
