Funeral services for Ida Boles, 91, of Silvis, IL, will be 10:00 AM Wednesday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Boles died Saturday, August 30, 2008 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis. Memorials may be made to Christ United Methodist Church, East Moline, where she had been a member. Ida Vosburgh was born April 6, 1917 in Monroe City, IA, the daughter of Albert and Laura (Turner) Vosburgh. She married Russell Boles April 25, 1936 in Oskaloosa, IA. He died January 26, 2002. She and her husband owned and operated Boles Roofing and Siding, where she did the bookkeeping. Survivors include: daughters and son-in-law, Carol and Bob Lee of Silvis, Lois and Bill McClure of Sun City West, AZ; son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Jane Boles, of Columbia, MO; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
