Inez E. Talbot, 86, of Silvis, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2025, at Illini Restorative Care, Silvis.  Per her wishes cremation rites will be accorded and a celebration of life will be at a later date.  Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Inez was born on April 14, 1938, in Cordova, the daughter of William and Inice (Long) Moyer.  She married Lyle E. Talbot Sr. in 1955.  She worked as a private secretary on Arsenal Island, Rock Island.  Inez enjoyed baking and cooking.  She was very crafty, doing crochet and making clothing for her children and their dolls.  Inez was also very artistic and did a lot of paintings, with her signature mouse in each one.  Her and her husband loved to travel from coast to coast.

Inez is survived by her husband, Lyle E. Talbot Sr., Silvis; children, Lyle E. (Doreen) Talbot Jr., Brighton, CO, Dawn Boyer, Moline, and Wendy Bowker, Hampton; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; siblings, Julia (Jerry) Canady, Elsie Moyer, and Donna Sierra; and multiple nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Glen Talbot; granddaughter, Amanda Hernandez; great granddaughter, Elida (Lilly) Diaz; and several brothers and sisters.
