Iola Sullivan, 95, of Moline, IL, peacefully entered the presence of the Lord on Thursday, April 23, 2026, surrounded by family.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 27th, at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, where visitation will be 10:00 a.m. Monday until service time. Interment will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline.

Iola was born February 28, 1931, in Saffell, Arkansas, to George H. and Flora J. (Sharp) Mize.

Iola retired from International Harvester in East Moline.

She was a woman of deep faith, and member of the Assembly of God church her whole life. Iola enjoyed gardening, crocheting and quilting. Her greatest joy were her grandkids and great grandkids. She will be fondly remembered as a loving mom, grandma, great-grandma and great-great- grandma.

She is survived by her four sons, Terry (Diane) Sullivan, Yuma, AZ, Dennis (Jennette) Sullivan, Geneseo, Buster (Charlene) Sullivan, Geneseo, and Richard (Penny) Sullivan, Edmond, OK; daughter, Sandra Sullivan, East Moline; 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and their families.

Iola was preceded in death by her daughter, Michele Hearn; parents, George and Flora; 5 brothers, Edward, Tola, C.B., J.S. and James Mize; and 3 sisters, Virgie Doyle, Velma Daggett, and Lola Mae Saffell.
