Funeral services for Irene M. Huggart, 104, of East Moline, IL, will be 10:00AM Monday at St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. Visitation will be 2:00-5:00PM Sunday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 1:30PM. Mrs. Huggart died Thursday November 5, 2009 at Illini restorative Care Center, Silvis, IL. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Association. Irene DePauw was born October 28, 1905 in Mineral, IL, the daughter of Louis and Mary De Wispelaere DePauw. She married Edward Huggart April 11, 1931 at St. Patrick's Church, Sheffield, IL. He died December 15, 1993. She had been a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother. Her family had been her life. When she was with her family she was happiest. She tried not to miss her "Sunday night at Frank's Pizza." She had been a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline since 1937 and a member of the neighborhood "Bunco Club " for over 20 years. Survivors include daughters Janette Cornmesser of Moline, Rita O'Dell of East Moline; sons and daughters-in-law, Edward and Jan Huggart Jr. of Colona, IL, Vernon and Ann Huggart of Poulsbo , WA; grandchildren, Sandra (Ed) Raschke, Carol (Clem) Morrison, Edward "Gene" Huggart III (Lanita Holtzman), Brian Huggart, Jeffrey (Kayleen) Huggart, Debra Frazier, Bethann (Jerry) Reynolds, Merline (Tom) Hensley, Rebecca (Ron) Hobbs; 19 great grandchildren; 27 great great grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Margaret Hugart of Moline, IL, Evelyn and Sylvester Albrecht of Moline, Bernice Bierman, Lillian Vols of Wyanet, IL; brother and sister-in-law, Ervin and Audrey DePauw of Shefield, IL; many nieces , nephews, and other wonderful relatives. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, Velma Nickerson, Selma Clemons, Doris Driessens, Cecelia Deskeere, Helen Muschke, Dorothy DePauw, brothers, John DePauw, Douglas Depauw, Charles DePauw, Lawerence DePauw.
