Irma J. Brandom, 94, East Moline, IL passed away on Friday, September 20, 2024 surrounded by family and under the care of hospice. There will be a graveside service at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Following the burial there will be a luncheon at the Viking Club.

Irma was born on June 17, 1930 to William and Elsie (Williams) Neighbors in Grinnell, IA. She grew up in the Quad Cities and graduated from Rock Island High School.

In 1949 she was united in marriage to Carl Brandom at the Rock Island Methodist Church. The couple made their home in Colona where they raised their nine children. Irma was a dedicated homemaker until the children were older and then she worked at the Oakwood Country Club.

She is survived by her children, Janet (John) Fuller, Claire (Bob) Holzinger, Kathy (Andy) Hoste, Carl (Mary) Brandom, Stephen Brandom, Carla (Rob) Snell, Scott (Michelle) Brandom; 24 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons, Mark and Greg Brandom; grandchildren, Josh Brandom and Janelle Wilks; great-great-grandchildren, Bella Montaq and Elsie Swanson; and siblings, Maryann Gordon and Maynard Neighbors.
