Isaias Ayala, 74, Silvis, passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at his home. Funeral services are 10 AM Friday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Silvis. Burial is in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. Visitation is 3-7 PM Thursday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 2PM. Memorials may be made to the family. Isaias was born on December 24, 1942 in Hidalgo, TX, the son of Gilberto and Anita (Aveldano) Ayala. He married Angie Terronez on April 14, 1961. She died in 1996. Mr Ayala worked 34 years for International Harvester and retired from Navistar in Ohio. He worked as a bailiff for Rock Island County for 20 years. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe and the Blessed Fr. Pro. He loved his family and cherished his grandchildren. Survivors include his children, Christine (Tom) Custer, Phoenixville, PA, Gilbert (Joele) Ayala, Phoenixville, Alesia (Robert) Cervantes, Silvis, Andrea (Lawrence) Handel, Colona, Anna (Jaime) Garcia, Silvis, Angelo (Sandra) Ayala, Corpus Christie, TX, Amelia (Robert) Simons, Corpus Christie, and Benito Ayala (Shelly Wirt), East Moline, 18 grandchildren, 17 Great grandchildren, siblings, Diana Nangle, David (Mary) Ayala, both of CA, Eli (Mary) Ayala, Sam (Sandra) Ayala, Steve (Sara) Ayala and Beatrice Loyola all of Texas, and the Benito and Felisa Terronez family. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by siblings, Eliseo, Gloria, Sara, Lydia, Naomi and Raymond.
