Jack E. Horton, 61, East Moline, passed away on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at Genesis Medical Center, Silvis. Funeral services are 10 AM Saturday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is 4-7 PM Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.

Jack was born on November 6, 1956 in Moline, the son of John and Lorene (Sartor) Horton. He married Darletia Hubbard on November 18, 1972 in Rock Island. Jack was in receiving for ARAMARK. He enjoyed time spent with family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Darletia, children, Jack "Jay" (Liz) Horton Jr., Silvis and Heather Horton (Denis Lorenz), Moline, seven grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, his parents John and Lorene Horton, East Moline, siblings, Judy (Robin) Egert, Moline, John Horton, Silvis, Kathy (Gary) Newkirk, Moline, Carol Emmert, Marion, IL and Barb Horton, Moline and many nieces, and nephews.
