Funeral services for Jack Lawrence Millage, 88, of East Moline, IL, will be 10 am Friday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline. Visitation will be 4-6 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Jack passed away Saturday, April 22, 2023, at home peacefully.
Jack was born July 24, 1934, in Iowa City IA, the son of George and Ruth Schneider Millage. He married Shirley Lopez January 29, 1955, in Davenport, IA. She passed away December 25, 1994. He retired from Deere & Company Buildings and Grounds in 1994, after 30 years of service. Jack was a Harley Davidson enthusiast. He enjoyed building street rods and going to the shows. He loved watching NASCAR and doing puzzles.
He is survived by his children, Ronda (Kent) Senior, Bethlehem, PA, Ronald (Mary) Millage, East Moline and Brad (Julie) Millage, East Moline; brother, Mike (Patti) Millage, Eugene, OR, loving partner for 28 years, Jeanne Wilcox, East Moline; grandchildren, Carrie Senior, Amanda (JR) Hills, Jason (Marcey) Millage, John (Katie) Millage, Eric and Brandon Terronez; great grandchildren, Hannah, Jenna and Noah Hills; Graysyn and Tatum Millage; Dylan and Devin Millage and Charlotte Kulhamer (Senior); the extended Wilcox family members, David (Mary) Wilcox, MO, Charlie (Donna) Wilcox, Moline, Tom (Pam) Wilcox, Moline, Theresa Wilcox, Silvis, Betsy (John) Durbin, Port Byron, IL, Toby (Chris) Wilcox, Silvis, IL, who he loved as family.
He is preceded in death by his wife; parents; brother, Jerry Millage of Corpus Christi, TX; daughter, Jackie Hauser of Cocoa Beach, FL.
